PERFORMANCE AND RELIABILITY

HV System Engineer

The High Voltage (HV) System Engineer will have overall responsibility for the HV components of the Energy Storage System (ESS) including contactors, fuses, HV wiring and power electronics. HV System Engineer will be responsible for defining the requirements for the HV components in order to meet the overall system specification. In addition, they will be responsible for defining and supervising the testing programme for these components.

Control System Engineer - 24 Months FTC

Honda Racing Development is seeking a hands-on Controls Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering team on a 24 months FTC. The purpose of the role is to develop the on-board control software for the ESS battery and other systems supporting Honda's Formula 1 programme, in order to ensure that performance and reliability targets are met. The Control Systems Engineer will actively contribute towards updating embedded ESS software, simulation study and architecture to software development and verification including all the necessary tools, equipment and process, and they will take technical direction from senior members of the team where required.
