MONACO GRAND PRIX - FREE PRACTICE
The traditional Thursday Free Practice sessions at the Monaco Grand Prix offered productive running for both sides of the McLaren-Honda garage. Jenson Button wasted no time getting up to speed in the MCL32, as he replaces Indy500-bound Fernando Alonso for the Monaco race weekend. After a few test laps on the street circuit, the British driver was straight on the pace and getting to grips with the 2017 cars. Stoffel Vandoorne also enjoyed a promising start to his Grand Prix weekend. He finished P12 in FP1 and P11 in FP2, with a total of 80 laps under his belt.
